Ishana Senthil is a rising sophomore at Bridgewater Raritan High School (BRHS). She has been learning Bharatanatyam since the age of 5 under the guidance of Guru Smt. Suba Ramesh Parmar and Guru Shri Swamimalai K Suresh. Her passion for this art as well as understanding of the traditions and culture have grown tremendously during this journey.
Apart from dance, Ishana is learning Carnatic music since the age of 5 and now a disciple of Guru Shri Swamimalai K Suresh. Ishana is also trained in western vocal and piano; she is a member of BRHS orchestra and plays violin. Ishana has performed in multiple talent shows and have won several accolades including the Mid Atlantic Music Teachers Guild (MAMTG) award for piano and western vocal. Ishana enjoys playing tennis for the BRHS team. Ishana has earned multiple awards including the Presidential award for Outstanding Academic Excellence and High Honor Roll award throughout her academic years in school.
